Typefaces

Learning and knowing aspects about typefaces I think is a very important lesson as a designer. Learning about typography can be a whole different field as a starting designer. There are so many rules as in where type should go, or even what typefaces compliment another. Through my typography class I learned the few basics such as what was the difference between serif and san-serif fonts. I also learned the difference between kerning, leading, and tracking.

Favorite type faces

I have learned to love and use all different typefaces, but my favorites are san-serif fonts that are rounded. I am drawn to these because of the very clean geometric aspect of them. I think that these fonts can be both playful and professional at the same time. This is what I strive for in my designs. Most of the typefaces I find are in Adobe Fonts, I would recommend this to anyone who is slowly getting into design.

Here are my favorite fonts!
